Illumination Optics

Illumination Optics (2005-present)

Illumination optics aims to create specific illumination patterns on a target. One special case is the creation of uniform illumination. In this project, we are developing theory and tools to handling source to target mapping of both point sources and extended sources for any targeted illumination patterns. In that process we discovered the required mappings from reflector to target that satisfy the integrability condition.
